The Centre for Workforce Development (CFWD) is one of 25 workforce planning boards across Ontario, mandated to support local workforce development through labour market research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic community planning. CFWD’s service area now includes Hastings, Prince Edward, Lennox & Addington, Renfrew, and Lanark Counties. In collaboration with employers, educators, community agencies, and government partners, CFWD works to strengthen labour market responsiveness and support a resilient regional workforce.
