About

The museum is located in the town's original Town Hall, built in 1872 and now designated under the Ontario Heritage Act. It was home to the Victoria School from 1879 to 1969, and is now the community museum. The Local History Gallery is complemented by a Special Exhibits Room with changing displays.

Parking is available at the back, along with a picnic area, a tranquil Victorian garden maintained by volunteers from the Carleton Place and District Horticultural Society, and a restorative labyrinth park.

Call ahead to arrange for a research visit, or access to archival papers or genealogy materials.
