Lisa Strangway is a Canadian marketing professional and entrepreneur based in Carleton Place, Ontario. She is the founder of The Marketing Station, a digital marketing company that serves small to medium-sized businesses in Lanark County and surrounding areas. With over 25 years of experience in the marketing industry, Strangway is known for her work in community engagement and digital strategy, particularly for local businesses.
Originally from Ottawa, Strangway has lived in Carleton Place for 18 years. She has been an active member of the business community, serving as a director on the board of the Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce and participating in the Kanata Business Connections network. In 2024, she was nominated in the Solopreneur category at the Chamber's annual awards gala. That same year, The Marketing Station received the Canadian Choice Award for Digital Marketing Agencies in Carleton Place.
Prior to founding her own company, Strangway spent 14 years in the marketing department of the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club. Her tenure with the NHL team provided experience in large-scale branding, promotional campaigns, and community outreach within a high-profile sports environment.
In launching her business, Strangway focused on providing accessible marketing support to business owners who often lack the time or resources to manage digital promotion. She is also the creator of *CP Social Scene*, a local Facebook group designed to foster community connection and support local businesses. The group has become a notable platform for social engagement in Carleton Place.
